Rates and Insurance.

I offer mindfulness based counseling for individual adults.

I'm "in network" with Premera and will submit a claim on your behalf. You will be responsible for any deductible and copays at the time of the appointment.

If you are covered with a different carrier, I will collect my full fee ($175) on the day of the appointment. You will later be reimbursed at the “out of network” reimbursement rate. I’m happy to provide a billing statement (called a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance. Please contact your carrier for more information on coverage.

Cancellations.

Please remember to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours (2 business days) in advance. To cancel a Monday appointment, you need to notify me by Thursday. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours of notice, or do not show, you will be charged the full fee for your session. Also please be aware that if you are late for an appointment, you will lose that time.

This policy is necessary because a time is held exclusively for you and is intended for emergencies/illness and not for day-to-day scheduling needs. Please work with me to avoid late cancellations so I can use the time for another client in need. I am happy to reschedule later in the same week without any additional charge.

Good Faith Estimate.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
